"Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and that day that is coming will set them on fire," says the Lord almighty. "But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healings in it's wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. Then you will trample the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things." Malachi 4, 1:6. I seldom begin weekly messages with scripture, however I felt compelled to quote the bible today. It's no surprise there are selfish arrogant people out there who live empty lives and bring very little to the kingdom of God. The fact some I am acquainted with some of those individuals fills me with guilt. From things they say or do to the very core of their souls, these so called friends of mine lie, curse and betray each other. I am constantly reminded that "no one is perfect" but where does one draw the line? At which point are we to either confront these individuals or even consider walking away continuing our relationship with God without these people in our lives? Those are not easy choices but they are important ones. The decisions we make when confronted with such turmoil dictates who we become. Acting on God's behalf and according to His will is who we are. Because of this, I will set out to ruffle feathers this week knowing I might make enemies of friends. The scripture mentioned above inspired me to make a difference instead of being indifferent. I hope and pray you will do the same acting on God's behalf. Doing the right thing is not always easy, but it is our mission. In the long run, it will make for a more purposeful life and accomplish far more than accepting mediocrity. Make a point to help those around you who often seem to "not know better". You will quickly realize we all could use help at one point or another in our lives and that we must answer calls that come from above. Let's pray! Father God; Lord we ask you to strengthen us in the days ahead Lord we pray that you will continue to look after
us God we love you and thank you for all that surrounds us! Praise God, This message was written by Rev. Daniel St.Pierre
